Environmental fairs represent a significant part of our environmental awareness and community service efforts. Within these fairs, we not only
educate the public about useful everyday environmental tips like recycling or how to manage waste, but we also donate various daily items like
cooking utensils, clothes, and books to the people that participate. We often hosted the fairs by collaborating with local governments and
other environmental organizations. If you want to take a look at our past hosted fairs, please browse through our gallery!
We often visit various rural schools and care centers to provide free environmental classes to the students and children inorder to educate them
about the importance of various environmental knowledge such as recycling, organizing trash, and saving natural resources. Inorder to keep the
students engaged, we make our lessons very interactive including playing games with them (with prizes of course), using colorful props, and making
atmosphere fun and competitive. Please click below to look at some pictures of our environmental lessons!
The ASIL Service Organization has created its own fun, engaging, and mobile environmental game that its volunteers have been bringing around to various public parks,
MRT/train stations, and underground malls to play with and educate the general public. It is a simple card game that requires the person to pick a card randomly from a pile,
and upon the card will be an applicable environmental question that the person will attempt to answer. If the person answers correctly, he/she will win a prize! Through this
entertaining and relaxing method, we have already helped spread environmental awareness and knowledge all around Taiwan!
We regularly donate to various care centers, orphanages, and other social care institutions many essential household appliances, such as toilet paper, diapers, milk powder, and
cooking oil. We believe that not only should we give our time to physically interact and help the children, but providing them the daily necessities that they need is
just as important in helping them out too!
Other than our signature events, we host many other various community service events such as park and mountain cleanups, hospital volunteering events, volunteer events in orphanages
and disability care shelters, and many more. This is all to spread our love and influence even further using a diversity of methods. We believe that having adequate environmental
knowledge is fairly important in being environmentally friendly, therefore, we post daily green-tips on many environmental issues to help our volunteers and readers stay informed. Please
